DATA & PRIVACY
Privacy policy.
Effective date: October 12, 2026
linkops is a personal website research and marketing workspace operated by an independent developer on their own computer. This policy covers this public information website and the local application, including optional Google account connections.
1. This public website
This site provides an application introduction and this privacy policy. It has no account registration, Google sign-in, advertising, application database, or analytics scripts added by linkops. It does not receive Google account credentials or Google API reports.
Cloudflare hosts the site and may process technical information such as IP addresses, request details, and security logs to deliver and protect it. Cloudflare's own data practices are described in its privacy policy. Emailing the contact address shares your message and email address with the application's operator and their email provider.
2. Local application data
The local application stores the owner's research, website records, notes, configuration, and imported or retrieved reports in local application storage. It is currently used by its owner and is not offered as a public hosted service.
Local operation does not mean every feature works offline. When the owner enables an external research, analytics, or AI service, the application sends the requests and inputs required for that selected feature to that provider. Its own privacy policy applies to the information it receives. The owner controls which integrations are configured and used.
3. Google data: access and use
The application uses Google's authorization process for optional Google account connections. It does not ask for or store the owner's Google password.
- Basic account information: account identification, such as the email address, associates an authorized Google connection with the local application.
- Google Analytics: read-only access to authorized property information and aggregate reports, such as visits and traffic sources, supports the marketing performance view.
- Google Search Console: read-only access to authorized sites and aggregate search reports, such as queries, clicks, impressions, and page performance, supports search analysis.
- Google Ads API, planned: the proposed integration would send seed keywords, selected URLs, and targeting settings to Google to obtain keyword ideas and aggregate historical keyword metrics for personal keyword planning. This integration is under preparation; Google Ads API access is not yet approved.
Google data is used for the selected research and performance features in linkops. A future Google Ads authorization would use Google's available Ads authorization scope; the initial planned feature is keyword research. This website does not initiate that authorization or operate advertising campaigns.
4. Storage, sharing, and protection
Connection credentials and retrieved reports are stored in the local application's data store, rather than in this public website. The owner is responsible for securing their computer, configuration, and backups. Access tokens are sent to Google to perform authorized API requests.
linkops does not sell or rent Google user data, use it for personalized advertising, or use it to train a general-purpose AI model. Google user data may be transferred to another service only with the owner's explicit consent for a visible, selected application feature, or when required for security or applicable law. Optional third-party services receive the inputs submitted for their selected features, so sensitive information should not be included unnecessarily.
linkops's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. Retention, deletion, and revocation
The owner controls the retention of research, reports, and credentials in their local application storage and backups. Data can remain until the owner removes it. This site has no copy of that application data.
Google authorization can be revoked through Google Account connections. Revocation stops further authorized access; it does not automatically remove reports or backups already stored locally. Local data and retained backups must be removed separately by the owner. For assistance with privacy or deletion, contact the address below.
6. Changes and contact
This policy will be updated when the application's data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
Contact the linkops operator for application support, privacy questions, or data requests.
